Who We Are

The Vaal Heritage Activists Foundation (VHAF) is a registered Non-Profit Organization (NPO) and Non-Profit Company (NPC) founded in 2018. Rooted in the vibrant Sedibeng Region, also affectionately known as the Vaal, VHAF is a community-based organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of the area.

Our Mission

We are committed to preserving, promoting, and advocating for the diverse heritage assets of the Vaal region. This includes recognizing and honoring the contributions made by individuals, geographic locations, and organizations to the region's history, socio-economic development, and cultural fabric.

What We Do

At VHAF, we design and implement programmes, projects, and campaigns that:

Mobilize community activism for social change.

Foster a positive value system that promotes pride and unity.

Celebrate historical and contemporary achievements in arts, culture, and sports to encourage social cohesion and nation-building.
